Kylington's a bit older and slightly worse past history before this season. If the Flames are smart, they use these things to push for a bit more term, at roughly that cap hit = ~6.6M x 8years

Backlund’s scoring always tends to pick up in the second half of the season, so won’t be surprised to see him hit 45/50 points when all is said and done.

Despite being an integral part of us winning, interesting that Backlund and Coleman are producing below what would be expected of them. By about a 10-20 point pace each.

Hopefully they both go on a burner at some point in the last 2/3.
