Default Calgarypuck Prospect Ranking 2021 - Round 11

Welcome to the annual Calgarypuck Prospect Poll!

As per usual ...

1. Rank the prospects as you like. Upside, chances, or trade value
2. I will try and do one a day which should get us to rookie camp range
3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

Link to previous years ... Link

I don't have much faith in Philips, so I went with the recent 2nd rounder Heineman.

My vote can be bought going forward with a persuasive argument, so if anyone wants to champion a prospect still on the board, I'm listening!

Pretty good article here by Scorpion I believe

I'd love if there were some more updates or news on Heineman. Hopefully he plays with the Heat sooner than later to get a better look at him in North America

I am sticking with Phillips. The rare kind of little forward that could play in the bottom 6. I think he will get some ice time this season. The hard working little guy working is sack off is the kind of guy a team and fanbase can really get behind. We need more of that.

We are in bust territory. The Flames would be lucky if one of these guys become regular

Starting to wonder why a poster who does nothing but complain about every single facet of the Flames organization remains allowed to post on this board.

Chuckles!

We've graduated players from the Calgarypuck list in the 20s pretty much every year.

Hard to predict which two or three guys from 11+ will make it, but some will.

Good to be consistent though on your part!

It's a random number generator. Whatever number comes up he casts the vote for the player in that slot.

So the one you quoted looks like a vote for Walker Dueher

Not a bad way to cast a vote. It's about as equally informed as everyone else's vote.

To be fair this team has given us very little to even be optimistic at all. In the the slightest. So your basically saying you want this guy off a hockey forum for talking about the team he loves.

Not sure what I said is wrong

I didn’t say none of these guys would make it. Just said the team would be lucky if any of them would be a REGULAR.

Would you all rather I lie and tell you the team is great all the time?

How about I would be shock if there is not a HOF here ? 🤪

This part of the list is the exact opposite of bust territory. It’s pleasant surprise territory.

Chose Heineman (whom I would've voted higher up).

No love for Gawdin anymore? We're projecting depth level players now, and I think he'd be useful as a fourth liner.

Francis is very underrated on this board.

I am someone who follows the Q and this guy is the real deal. He attacks the middle of the ice, is sturdy on his skates, is relentless infront of the net, great shot, great vision and is fiesty for someone his size. Very akin to Mangiapane in terms of playstyle.

Wouldn't surprise me the least if he leads the Q in scoring next season.

His cup of coffee last year was not very good.

His skating was clearly an issue and not sure it improves a whole lot at his age.

Its too bad because he had really good skills at the junior level and in the A, just dosnt look like it will translate at all to the show.

Tweener at best IMO.
