What will Sam Bennett get?
With Bennett being an RFA, what sort of contract will he get?
What sort of role do you see him fulfilling going forward?
Will he be a winger or a center next year?

2 years $2-2.5M per year
I think the only way he's not playing center is if Jankowski forces his way onto the team.

Two years at $1.75-$2.25 million. Hopefully a winger.

2 years $2-2.25mil range would be my guess. I think he'll have a big year next year.

I hope - or 7 years, 4M. I believe in Sam Bennett.
What I think he'll get? 3 years, 2.85M per - nearly identical to Galchenyuk's bridge.

Whatever the price, I'm hoping for 3 years so that it comes after Brouwer's contract is over and doesn't have to be done at the same time as Tkachuk.

I believe he should fall into the bridge contract category. Hasnt proved much yet but has potential.

and if you believe (if the organization believes) in that potential, that's when you do a long term deal. You maybe overpay in the short term to reap the benefits long term.

2 year deal for around 2.5M. I think Bennett will be a very late bloomer and may not reach his potential until the deal after his next one... So in 4 years or so.

Bridging Bennett for anything less than 3 years is poor cap management. Brouwer and Frolik expire in 3 years, so if we bridge Bennett 2 years and he earns a big raise - we're pretty much screwed cap-wise, especially because a bridge for Tkachuk seems unlikely at this stage.
