Vaccination proof to get into Nashville North, lower capacities in the park.
Would you go to a drive-through breakfast?
Just wondering.
In ON they canceled the EX, but opened Wonderland to limited capacity.
My wife's company was looking at examples of re-opening and for fun brought up the Stampede's plans.

For the small poll that I have done with my friends and family the answer is a hard no. I agree as well. I have no plans to attend this year, maybe next.
The consensus reason on why no one in my circle wants to go is they do not feel comfortable with the crowds.
I do have friends that work on park and the protocols they are having in place this year seem reasonable. I know they have hired double the cleaning staff to clean down high touch points. They are doing I think 50% capacity in the grandstand.

I’m not going and it’s largely due to Covid and associated concerns. But you know who is planning on attending that I find hilarious? Politicians. Many of these people were super concerned about this event and completely against opening so soon and yet they’re dressing up like cowboys and can’t miss a chance to shake hands and kiss babies.

Yes, plan on going down with my daughter one night. The lower capacity and far less crowds is pretty appealing tbh.

I won't be going, and everyone I know just laughs at the idea if you bring it up.

Nope, not going. No one else I know is going either. Mostly due to concerns of Covid and large crowds.

Cant foresee the Covid protocols being enforced to the extent one might assume they would be.
How are they taking proof of vaccination? Photo on your phone? Piece of paper from when you got your shot from the pharmacy? Too easily fabricated on ones own PC to be considered "safe" in my opinion.
Stampede at the best of times is meh, add in the pandemic, new variants and the fact that a large majority of those saying they cant wait to attend are probably unvacinnated... Hard pass.

I went to the grounds in 2019 after not going for a number of years, mostly because I wanted to check out the Corral one last time.
COVID or not, I'm not likely to go back for another few years (probably to check out the Corral's replacement once it opens).

I wouldn't go to Stampede in a non-Covid year, let alone now.

I'm currently stuck watching the virtual Stampede Parade. I can see the remote control but it would require me to get up if I want to turn off the TV.

And weirdly enough there is a mini donut stand out front of the Home Depot next to Chinook

I don't think anyone has to worry about 'large crowds' at Stampede this year, looks like it's going to be a ghost town if the polls are any indication.
I'll go next year. None of our friends are going and my wife isn't particularly fond of Stampede to begin with. Also, it's going to be a shadow of its former self, so I'd rather go when Stampede is at 100%.

Definitely not going and no one I know is going either. I don't think walking around the grounds is that dangerous. I'm more concerned about the tents (Nashville North and the ones not on-site) where people are gathering. They were interviewing someone from a tent on TV the other day and she said they weren't having masks, but the tent was bigger this year and they were wiping things down. Like people who are drinking in a tent will stand apart from each other.
I would love a drive through breakfast though. I tried looking online but only found two. Chinook, where they give you ingredients and you have to go home and cook it yourself or one at Marlborough Mall that was promoting its special guests Jason Kenney and Erin O'Toole. The second one would definitely make me lost my appetite!

Depending what part of town you're in, the Millican Ogden Community Association is doing a drive thru breakfast on Monday from 9-11 am. Just drive up and get pancakes, sausage and fruit.

I’ve never really gone, however I’m double vaccinated and cases are so low Covid isn’t something I’m concerned about any longer. I would have no issue going to a full capacity event like this.
