Something that kills me is how lazy the players away from the puck are in the offensive zone. No one is engaging in a battle/pushing off defenceman to create space to get shots off.

Just useless perimeter play with bad shots taken from the boards, or quick jam plays from the goal line by the post. Phil Kessel/Alex Ovechkin/Steven Stamkos/the best shooters in the league can’t beat goalies from the spots we take our shots, but there we are...chucking garbage.

Incredible that the ref in the neutral zone called that penalty, not the ref standing 5 feet away looking at the hit
