It's cause of the last two OT games. They're very self absorbed, obnoxious and have short memories. If the Oilers have been winning in OT then they're seen as better than everyone and have the edge. Poolparty scores? Bonafide top six winger. Yamamoto has a good couple preseason games, he's now a force to be reckoned with in the NHL. Their bottom six junk put up like 7-10 points down the stretch last year, so they were proclaimed contender level depth going into this season. Etc, etc.
