I got attacked for this and called a troll , when it's quite simple 40 years of watching NHL you can tell the ones who will not meet their draft standards.

With today's 2 goal game, despite the atrocity of a season he has had, he is now on pace for 25 points, one less than last year.
I think he's about to turn things around.

The big and only silver lining in this game for sure. Benny has his confidence back. He was buzzing all night long. Chemistry really building between him and Jankowski.

I see a "Benkowski" partnership doing great things for the team.

His second goal was a dandy. He picked the corner and released it with real confidence.

I liked Hathaway being added to that line.
Janko familiar with him and they scored twice after that line formed.

Missed the game last night. With Hathaway on 3L did Jagr end up on the 4th? Who did he play with?

They moved Jagr to first line and Ferland to fourth line.
I suspect a temporary third period shakeup move to get the guys going.

The third line actually looks decent right now. The rest of the team, not so much.

Overall a brutal game... however, I like to try and take positives out because I think being a fan should be as enjoyable as possible. This was the first time under GG that I can remember where we had a great 3rd period effort to try and come from behind and win a game. Hopefully this continues, and it's not a foregone conclusion that when we're losing after the second period that the game is all but over.

The third period effort wasn’t even that great. They benefited from two blades of steel “secret angle” goals. The effort was still bad

Yep, once they got close and the pressure was once again on to do something they folded again.
World beaters taking and scoring low percentage shots losing 6-1.
Handling the puck like a hand grenade and running into each other when the score is 6-5.
