Really happy to see how Jankowski and Bennett are starting to gel. Looking like they could be another strong pairing for years to come.

This! It took a while but it really looks like Feaster and his scouts did well with this pick. He's not looked out of place and as the weeks go by you can see he's becoming more confident. Definitely a bright spot.

This time last year the team was 12-13-2 after 27 games. This year the team is 14-12-1, with an arguably better team.

Still so much potential for this group. That defense can be so much better and I think it will be.

Only 31 teams are able to win the Stanley Cup, and the Flames is one of them.

We have a roster of players that can win games, and be incredibly entertaining to watch.

With a different strategy to defence, we have a very good team.

Quoted for truth.

We've got the other teams right where we want them.

i've found that I can increase my enjoyment of Flames games with a recipe to approximate the taste of Saddledome nacho cheese by:
  1. grating 1 cup of sharp, aged or extra old cheddar into Totsitos Nacho Cheese;
  2. 1 tbsp water
  3. microwave on 2 minute increments for a total of 6 minutes, stirring between each heating
  4. serve with Yellow Round Deli nacho chips.

We gave the Oilers and their fans false hope when we let them beat us on Saturday night.

I should add that depending upon your microwave you may need to cook it more. Some people like to add more of the sharp, aged cheddar as well, which is entirely permissible.

We ended the Anaheim streak - if that isn't a successful season, I don't know what is.

I'm happy to have a #1 goalie that doesn't make me panic on every breakaway.

This is a good thread.

I Love How in another thread my favorite poster "crazy bacon legs" broke some serious tension with one of his beloved stories.

A+ thread. Team will inevitably start to play lights out around Christmas, as they historically have. Gio-Hamilton will be one of the 5 best pairs in the league, Brodie will remember how to be vintage Brodie and Hamonic deal will end up playing dividends. Johnny will finish top 5 in points, Monahan will score 40, Ferland will get 30. Jankowski will continue to make Feaster look like a genius. Finally, deep playoff run. That felt good.
