Flames measured up big time. Hardly any soft shifts. No passengers. Smith was on his game.
Hopefully they saw the team had the last few minutes in hand and just said "no need to go back Johnny".

A very well played game by the Flames as that was as good of a shut down 3rd period as I have seen from this team in a while. Everything looked good tonight outside of maybe the powerplay being stuck in neutral. Peters pushing all the right buttons and seems to have a good feel for how guys are going as that was a great hunch that Frolik would respond positively after spending a night in the press box.

I've seen the Bruins occasionally but I never caught onto what a cheap little *** McAvoy is.
Class by tkachuk to just skate to the bench after the empty netter.
And I love Peters and his lineup matches. Not scared to go firepower against firepower, and if he wants he'll put the faith in the fourth line to go out and compete against top Bruins lines.
