Hopefully he can rediscover the skills he had in junior.

He's got a great attitude and is the kind of guy you would like to have in the locker room. He just needs to improve on his play as this is a good move for him.

It would be great to see a turnaround. It so rarely happens though.

I think this is awesome, I'd love to see Lazar come back and be an impact roster player and his attitude is fantastic.

Hard not to love this young man's attitude and demeanor.

But, I don't have hope that he can have any impact at the NHL level anymore. Best case I see him as a reclamation for another team. Worst case, a career AHLer/Euro player which isn't horrible either.

Lomberg would of been destroyed by Gudbranson.

Dont get me wrong, I like the player.

We need a tough guy on this team that can play. I hope Prout can be that guy.

Peluso is not that guy. Just a goon. I like goons. Calgary needs a player on the roster that can protect players but also play a regular shift.

Engelland while over paid was a great signing. The team misses him.

The problem with Lazar is that there may be no "high end skill" for him to revive in the AHL.
In his draft year, he had 61 points in 72 games. That's not amazing by any standard. He has had 4 points in 13 AHL games.

I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt he gets as many points as Mangiapane or Foo.
Hopefully Lazar at least develops enough skill to become a serviceable 4th liner. But I'm highly skeptical.

I was curious to see how lazar was going, so far looks like he's contributing in the farm

3GP 2G 1A 3P, 1PPG -4

Good for him, hope to see him light it up and get a chance to come back up someday.
