I am looking forward to tomorrow. The NFL draft is probably the most entertaining in all of sports. Also, my old man who is a life long cowboys fan, and draft nerd is making his pilgrimage to Arlington. I am really happy for him.

I think Darnold will be the first QB taken. Mayfield is the best QB in the draft IMHO. Trouble is he doesn't fit the NFL mold and teams cannot seem to see past that.
Gear grinder but I hate how the NFL announces the picks, having the Commissioner do it. Let the teams announce their own picks like the NHL does, it adds to the event.

One league source told cleveland.com that rumblings inside the Browns facility among staffers are that Mayfield will be the pick because the Oklahoma quarterback has all of the qualities GM John Dorsey is looking for.
The source said the Browns are also actively shopping the No. 4 overall pick and will try to move down if the player they want isn't there.

It may happen, but I just dont see them passing on Darnold. Though I dont think any of the QB's are substantially better than the other and success from any of them will be predicated upon where they go rather than raw talent. Cleveland is great spot for a guy that needs to develop for a year or even 2 with Taylor there to help apprentice them, as well as pieces around them to help.
I still think that they take SD at 1, and if Barkely is there at 4 they take him, otherwise they trade down to one of the teams looking for a QB.
EDIT: After reading a bunch of different sites, and listenig to a couple guys/gals on various networks, it may really be Mayfield at 1.

still think it's all smokescreen. First the Allen talk, now Mayfield ... in the end they'll make the logical choice in Darnold.

2 NYG - Barkley
3 NYJ - Rosen
4 CLE - Chubb
5 DEN - Mayfield
6 BUF - Allen (trade up)

8 CHI - Edmunds
9 SF - Fitzpatrick
