Will be in vegas for 5 nights. 3 nights of absolutely crazy partying during EDC, 1 night of gambling, one night to recover.
Im all booked for EDC as well.
Ill most likely do day 1 and day 3 with typical vegas stuff such as pool parties/gambling on day 2 and then on day 4, checkout, go drive some exotics at that racing place and then straight to the airport.

You must be a grandma if you need a night to recover in Las Vegas
Dude, last time I was in Vegas I ate a total of 3 slices of pizza, one plate of panda express and some mcbites over 3 days while drinking twice my weight in free scotch and cokes and getting maybe 10 hours of sleep combined all 3 nights. I'm pretty sure I was technically deceased on the 3rd night. Took me about a week to feel normal again.
I think as long as I remember to eat at the drunken, drugged up orgy that is EDC, I'll be fine. Eat and maintain at least a semi-constent buzz cause I know once that buzz goes away for an extended period, I'll be paying for it dearly.
I'm hoping that the first night will be a little more relaxed and just drinking and gambling, 2nd day more gambling and then EDC, 3rd day sleep and EDC, 4th day sleep and EDC, 5th day recovery and not leaving the room and then drive home on the tuesday.
I don't see myself waking up early enough to hit any pool parties outside of the first day when we get there (driving down, should be there around 10 or 11 in the AM) and 2nd morning before EDC. Did the racing last time I was there but I'll probably do it again if it's open (EDC festivities are at the track so I wouldn't be suprised if it's closed during that sh*tstorm).
This is of course, all pointless planning cause a) it's Vegas and plans are absolutely useless when partying in Vegas and b) who knows how my body reacts to this debauchery.

Typical Polak is right.
Haha. Girlfriend is Polish. Everytime I go over to her place and hangout with her while she's getting ready, she's got the Eurotrash electronic dance party going on.
Not into Electronic music but that looks like a blast!!
Looking for some reviews/thoughts on the Flamingo! Wanting to go for a week in July for the long weekend/UFC etc.. and looking for a decent, moderatly priced place to stay. Looking for a good location, good pool and decent price this place always pops up, thanks guys!

For the most part I try and stay somewhere new each time I go. For EDC I had to rebook at Treasure Island. I find they always have good rates, being central on the strip is important to me, the pool is slightly above average (doesnt compare with MGM but I dont like having to walk for 20 minutes to get to the pool either.)
As for EDC, im not huge on the music either...Its more so the atmosphere I am going for!

I don't know why, but I really like the Flamingo. Stayed there last time I went, and I'd stay again. The casino is usually fun, the Margaritaville casino is always a blast. Central to pretty much everything, decent enough rooms. Haven't been to the pool there though.
I might go this year since I haven't been since it was at USC stadium. It's hard to believe that back then Deadmau5 was the headliner over SHM.
I heard that 3-5 weeks before the event is whats rumored for the "set in stone" line up. I would expect leaks and maybe a few phases to be announced before though but I don't know... I can't find anything about it online.
Tickets may be close to gone by then.
Deadmau5 is a freaking joke these days. I used to love him.
Also, if rumors are to be believed, then Daft Punk probably has a CD coming out this year and if so then they'll probably tour and then I could see them headling EDC... Just saying. Can you imagine???

Well deadmau5 is hardly a joke....not sure where you're getting that from?
Anyway I can almost guarantee dp won't be playing edc, it's not their style. If anything they will be at Coachella.

Why were there not things like this/I know about them 20 years ago when I could participate. If I went now I would likely be labeled a fat old narc and ostracized.

His unplugged sets are terrible and his music has steadily decreased in quality imo.
That was my initial thinking as well but they did Ultra before so its not completely out of character. It's been confirmed they won't be at Coachella this year and they have said they won't be touring either but to make no appearance anywhere if they have an album coming out would be shocking... still, fingers crossed.
We are looking at going to Tony and Tina's Wedding and or Le Reve this trip has anyone been to either of these shows? We've already done most of the cirque shows and some others Jersey Boys, Phantam etc... just looking for comments on the two.
