Jason Isbell sounds like the confused lovechild of Neil Young and Tom petty. In 20 years, I feel like he might grow into a crotchety old man that churns out a classic album.
Ole 60 feels like where Nu Country could have gone, if they swayed away from rehashing (or straight stealing) 90s pop rock.
Thanks for the new music! I really miss the western in country. Truth be told, I also liked the bayou steel guitar music that has mostly disappeared, too. Ready for a revival.
