Sorry, but you don't get to talk about people making curious comments / notions about current players. Ever.
You are the poster boy of needing to admit to everyone you were wrong.
Not sure of my being wrong.
Can't quite be held accountable for saying someone isn't good enough to be on a roster. A roster that surprisingly didn't draft or sign anyone to compete at the centre position for 4 seasons?
Oh, but when they did last year, that player has already leaped him and another this year is certain to do so as well.
Some players get 9 lives like a cat, some don't. If you think he's becoming an elite offensive talent, write it down.
I think you are 100% right on this. I believe we hired the fitness coach that was with the Kings the previous 3 or 4 years.
His name is Ryan Van Asten. The guy has a legendary resume. Two Stanley Cups with Kings, he has also worked for Hockey Canada, was apart of the 2010 Olympic gold medal women's hockey team and was apart of a few world championships and some World Cup wins in Luge.
Bonus, he is a Calgary boy.

As if last night wasn't enough, Schlemko played a great game. Hiller was tight. Solid game from Wideman, Brodie and Russell yet again. Hartley with the timeout call of the year. Very satisfying to beat the exact team whose organization we are trying to emulate.

You predicted Backlund would be out of the NHL long ago, not able to land any role on any NHL roster. He is currently 2nd on the team amongst forwards in Time on Ice per game, and relied on greatly by Hartley in the Flames run for a playoff spot.
You were dead wrong. Just admit it.

Flames win in regulation by 3 or more goals
Aeneas, CroFlames, Flashpoint, Hitman88, mrkajz44, Nsd1, Poe969, Robo, terminator
What a game again, thought they were going to lose for sure at 0-2. Kept waiting for the parade of penalties to us. Weird? Who were these refs?
Backlund was outstanding. I think not mentioned in this thread, but that was a pretty good game from Bollig. Assist aside, I thought he did a solid job.

This rambling is completely unintelligible. No idea who or what you're talking about but my last point was a simple one:
You told everyone who'd listen Backlund was KHL bound. Not only were you wrong, you've spent several years so angry and ashamed about being wrong that you have blinders on and are completely unwilling to admit it.
You were talking earlier about people who may have been incorrect about Monahan early on.
You of all people calling them out, is completely hypocritical.
Just stop.

Shame on you. Down 2-0 and switch to Family Guy?? As I told my cat, we got 'em right where we want 'em.
It's absolutely bizarre isn't it.
When I am watching the games, and they get down a goal or two, it doesn't even phase me. I am just waiting, and fully expecting them to come back. It feels like they are winning, when they are losing. A couple years back, down a goal and you gave up as a fan.

Why would he try to improve the Oilers at this point? I hate tanking as much as anyone but we're into the last 20ish games of a completely lost season for the Oilers. Why do anything to worsen your chances at McEichel?
Because unless they want to be in this same situation next year that blue line has to improve. Schlemko is still young for a defenseman and has some upside, picking him up on waivers should have been a no brainer for a gm who has a severe lack of defensive prospects
But hey, worked out great for us. Personally I hope they keep MacTavish in charge for as long as he wants the job

I, too, thought after they were down 2-0, the game might get out of hand, but they showed their resiliency and battled back. Love it that different players step up every night. Tonight Stajan along with Russell and Wideman were great. That, along with Hudler and Monahan solid performances every game and they should never be in doubt.
