Two things
1. Yes, clearly.
2. He's kind of implying his own grunt is girly isn't he?

Too lazy to look up and figure out the time difference. Im off for a couple days now so wondering when Raonic's next match is. Might be able to actually watch it.

John McEnroe has weighed into the Margaret Court controversy in his typical hilarious fashion.
Quote:
In the skit released on Saturday night in Paris, McEnroe said Court telling fans that “tennis is full of lesbians” prompted three thoughts to him.
“This is true and who gives a ######? This is not true and who should give a ######? This is half true and should we really give a ######?”, he said.
As for renaming the court that bears her name in Melbourne Park, the jury is still out. The self-appointed Commissioner of Tennis might have a viable solution: "keep the name, and when same-sex marriage finally becomes legal in Australia, I will personally call my good friend Elton John to host the biggest same-sex mass wedding ceremony ever seen in the Margaret Court Arena."

The Nishikori match continues from Set 4 at 3am. Raonic follows.
So it'll start sometime between 4 and 5am

Milos up 2 sets to 1 on Carreno Busta (6-4. 6-7, 7-6) - Lots of winners from Milos, but plenty of unforced errors as well.

Going to a 5th and deciding set, sloppy tennis from Milos in set 4.

Through four sets....
Milos: 75 winners, 66 UFEs
Carreno Busta: 26 winners, 19 UFEs
...in case you were wondering if clay tennis is the worst (it is).

Nice rally from love-40 down to take that game, some good shots and a little luck as well.

Followed up by a break at love with a massive forehand winner. Carreno Busta heated with the chair umpire.

No tiebreaks in the fifth with both guys showing they can be easily broken. Could be a long fifth set.

Nadal sitting back and thinking it should be an easy match regardless of who wins.

Wow, some gutsy tennis from Milos to save three match points and break Carreno Busta. 5-5 now.

Great effort from Milos, match of the tournament on the men's side so far. One more round would have been nice just for the rankings even if beating Rafa was never happening. Truth be told there's only one man who can beat Rafa right now, and he's not really a man, he's a Stanimal of course. After the thrilling Aussie Open, this has been as dull a major as I can remember.

Agreed Senator, I'm not too disappointed with the loss as the way Nadal is playing, Milos would likely have been shredded by Rafa. I certainly did like the fight from Milos today and the most important thing is he didn't injure himself and can prepare for Wimbledon.

If Milos would have won against Carreno Busta, the men's quarter-final matches would comprise all the top 8 seeded players.

Tennis Canada
Canadians begin week two at Roland-Garros on a winning note
The final stretch of the French Open is underway in Paris and several Canadians remain in title contention.
In junior action, third-seeded Bianca Andreescu advanced to the third round of the girls’ singles draw thanks to a 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 win over Xiyu Wang of China. She will next face Russia’s Sofya Lansere for a place in the quarter-finals on Wednesday. Andreescu and fellow Canadian Carson Branstine also reached the second round in doubles. The pair are aiming to win their second straight Grand Slam title after being crowned champions of the Australian Open in January.
In mixed doubles, Gabriela Dabrowski is through to her first Major semifinal alongside her partner Rohan Bopanna of India. The duo upset the second-seeded team of Ivan Dodig and Sania Mirza 6-3, 6-4 in the quarter-finals. Tennis Canada.com
