Why would anyone care?

They do them for the fans after a win, and when the opposing team has left the ice.

It is baffling to me that it gets anyone upset enough to start shouting about it.

Why do you care that people don't like it? They are in ninth place and showboat after wins. They also look stupid doing it and spend time working on it.

If the Flames were a bubble team I would want their focus elsewhere. Gotta think it motivates opponents too

Isles up 1-0.

Isles are done in Barclays Centre after tonight for the season, unless they get past the first round, when they will play there in any subsequent rounds. Such an odd setup. Even in their own press release they say Nassau isn’t a major league facility, yet they are playing a bunch of games there and the first round of the playoffs.

Off topic here but I’d like to see the junior hockey flyby after goals, done and gone in the NHL.

When the games are blowouts most players no longer do it.

But I do care if it prompts a fossil like Don Cherry to have aneurysm on national television because that is outrageously irrational.
