The only downside to this early season is the ambivalence or I dare say cowardice of the CP collective on side bets, so far.

Mercs are clearly the class of the field again and then RBR. With another gap back to McLaren/Ferrari/Renault/Racing Point.

Williams was quite a bit better this year (~0.75s/lap), second best after Racing Point for lap times (~0.9s/lap). Every single Ferrari team was about a second slower...https://www.instagram.com/p/CCOyNxqo..._web_copy_link

Still a bit disappointed with Latifi, but I'm hoping the craziness of the season will wear off and he can adapt. I do think Russell is really improving and he's a very talented driver.

Another interesting read...I had no idea that "investors" can help support junior series drivers and then can get paid back when there "investments" start making big bank in F1.

"However, what was pointed out was that if we cap drivers' salaries, we break the whole ladder of motorsport. Who would invest money in young driver programmes to pay for their racing if they can't get their money back by taking a percentage of the drivers' high wages? That's the debate. "

Best part of working nights, I can get drunk watching the early morning F1 race and not even feel bad about it

Wow, at this rate you'll be able to pick up points just for getting to the chequered flag

Curious why RP didn’t pit Perez for new tires when everyone else did. Can’t see him holding onto 3rd.

That was crazy. So thrilled with McLaren, a podium and both cars in the top 5, what a race

What an insane race, probably the most exciting one I've watched. So happy for Norris, we rarely get to see genuine, child like excitement from a podium finisher as it's almost always a Big 3 driver.

Would have been really happy to see Albon podium as well, oh well, he's clearly a great driver who will get his chances.

Have to laugh at Vettell going after his replacement driver in Sainz in an ill advised manner and shooting himself in the foot in the process.

*SPOILER ALERT* for those recording

What a war of attrition. Albon must have nightmares about Hamilton after getting wrecked for the 2nd time by him to fall out of the podium.

Sucks for Latifi to fall just short of points in his first race. Likely the closest he gets to points unless we have massive retirements each race, but good on him for finishing and voiding the curbs which seem to be the source of the damage.

Next week should be fun!

I won $155 for Hamilton to not make the podium! But man he deserves more than a 5 second penalty for that.

Hamiltons kind of a Tool eh. Almost Identical move on Albon in Brazil, except I think Albon had him fully this time. If I'm Albon, I wait for a while and wreck Hamilton when it matter most for points that would clinch a title or something.

Glad to See McLaren getting back to proper form. Now for Williams.

Just watched the race on delay. And that is why I can’t stand Hamilton. Watch the sport after a break, and somethings never change.

Awesome for Norris though! I thought Perez had a good drive as well.

Unfortunate for Stroll though, with the mechanical issues, but such a fun race to kick off the F1 season.

Yep, Stroll probably could have been top 5 or 6 if not for his engine retirement.
