Ok, so who on the Forge said those things? If it wasn't this guy, who the club appeared to agree to the CSA (for the very little that investigation that was worth, given the gross incompetence of the CSA at the best of times), but someone did. I hardly think multiple Cavalry players made that up.

I'm ####ing rattled by that statement, I just cannot believe it.
To #### on the supporters for trying to bring resolution to the matter is just completely tone deaf, regardless of whether Reynders is guilty or innocent.
How are we as a society supposed to eliminate racism in sports if every time a racism allegation comes up, the accusers are dragged through the mud? If you stay silent on the matter, nothing happens. If you are vocal on the matter, suddenly you're the bad guy for speaking out.

Looks like the league isn't going to be the first Canadian league to get playing in 2020. CEBL just announced a single site tournament starting July 25, all games streaming on CBC. Lost opportunity to gain valuable exposure IMO.

In a chat with Nik Ledgerwood about two weeks ago, when the first phase of training began, he indicated he hoped there would be a chance to get games on more traditional platforms.
24 days ago the league announced that they had reached a framework for the 2020 season, and that the next steps were to engage the fans. The fans have still yet to be engaged on this.
I am holding out hope that the league is waiting for Canada Day to announce the details of the season. If we end up getting to the end of the week, and we still have yet to hear details, I think I will just give up until April.

“When we all went to Cavalry for away games, we always said they’ve got a great fanbase, and it was a real hard team to break down,” he recalled. “They played great football, it was always a side that was very attractive. It was almost the side that you wished you were on for a lot of the games we played against them.”
Very nice words. I'd like to think that shermanator had a hand in the genesis of that statement.
