Not to pile on, but really to pile on.

There you go. Two good teams, no VAR, no penalties, no controversies, no 'thievery.'

Well I think you're focusing on the "not that good" portion and thinking I don't think they're good. What I mean is they're the best in the league at this point, and that's not questionable. I just think the table makes them seem better than they are at this point. You can say I'm dumb, or don't know what I'm talking about, and that's fine. But I don't think it's exactly a hot take to suggest that they've had at least a couple fortunate bounces/calls etc. to keep this string rolling. I don't think it's a stretch to suggest they were lucky to leave Tottenham with the full three points, nevermind games like Palace, Villa or this afternoon.

You’re not dumb. Except when it comes to supporting Tottenham.

I would expect no other kind of response! Let's face it... we're all miserable together watching the media fellate Klopp and Liverpool. At least part of why I don't think they're that good is because I want it so badly to be the case!

"You play to win the game". Part of Liverpool's "luck" is they have the players to punish teams who don't put them away. You just can't make mistakes against them or they will make you pay. As far as good fortune, that tends to even out in time. Ideally in time for Liverpool to have a 17 point lead with 6 games left to be followed by 6 straight losses and six straight Man City wins. That'd be some funny ####.

oh you guys are lucky, you're not living in a German-speaking country. German sports forums are unbearable ... not because of the real Liverpool fans, but because of the Klopp fans (mostly Dortmund fans) who don't even care about Liverpool but just think he's walking on water.

brace yourselves, the Saudis are coming.
Quote:
Saudi Arabia’s sovereign-wealth fund is in talks to buy U.K. Premier League soccer team Newcastle United F.C. for about £340 million ($445 million), according to people familiar with the discussions.
The buyer is the Public Investment Fund, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s key investment tool, together with a group of investors organized by British financier Amanda Staveley, the people said. A final deal could be days or weeks away, the people said. The tentative deal could still break down.
The seller is British businessman Mike Ashley, who bought the team in 2007 for 134 million pounds, and turned into one of the least popular owners in English soccer.

West Ham is losing at home to 10-men West Brom. It's a brand new low.

Oh great. A replay. We need a striker and with Levy in attendance today that point should've been driven home.

Daniel Podence from Olympiacos to Wolverhampton for £23M. It is only a matter of time until Ronaldo completes the puzzle.

How is this Tranmere pitch even remotely acceptable? United should have refused to play.

yeah I know it's CPs little club, but honestly, they deserve to get slaughtered here for that abomination of a pitch.
now even Lingard scores, what a time to be alive.

Phil Jones, scorer of goals. The end is near.
5-0 at HT. Watford should be relegated for losing to them over two legs.

Newcastle fans hate Ashley obviously, and for good reasons. But yet another club fueled by oil money isn't exactly what every PL fan was waiting for, and it's a bloody murderous regime to top it off.
