Lazar confirms he’s in with Versteeg and Bennett. Seems like we’ll have to wait for Jagr’s debut.

Always special for me to see the Jets live. It's been 6 full seasons already but I never thought I'd have them again to cheer and live and die by in each new Fall of the year. I'm really disappointed in the teams management but at the end of the day all I can do is show up tonight and shout true north and hope for the best.
My head says 5-1 Flames but my inner sports fanatic froths for a 4-0 dominant Jets win. Go Jets!

Brouwer should be taking any and all "optional" ice-time he can get. If there's one person you'd expect to be out there minus the game day pressbox group it's the struggling winger on season #2 with the flames.
After a demotion to the 4th line you'd think it would light a fire under his ass to try harder... guess not. Even more reason to give the spot to a young hungry kid.

I don't care what the lineup is. Every single player on this team has more to give. Jagr will be in there soon enough and I'm almost as excited for Janko to be recalled. Johnny once used the jets to gain confidence and catapult his career... Looks like that confidence needs a little more jet fuel. LETS GOOOOOOOOOO

So next Friday likely first game at home. I assume he goes on the trip, probably not play in ANA Monday, maybe against the Kings Wed?
Depends of it is conditioning or practice he needs more of. If it's the former he could skip the trip and train here on his own to get more used to the altitude here for another week.

Yeah he should be introduced on the bench for the home opener based on past years when everyone down to the video coaches and trainers get intoduced.
