Their back to back travel is so jarringly soft, it's hard not to argue that schedule was designed to favour them.

I think a one hour flight is the longest they had to get on an airplane for (Some bus rides between neighbouring cities and two home back to backs in there)

I was watching a Coyote podcast where they were commiserating losing their franchise. One of the guys had this to say about the game Edmonton lost: "I can't see the Oilers advancing in the playoffs. They were dominated, at times, by a team, who had nothing to play for, and was shocked and depressed by off ice developments."

The Knights clinch a playoff spot coupled with the Blues loss. The Knights were dominant right from the start as they took a 3-0 lead in under 9 minutes into the game. Stephenson had 4 assists and Hannifn had 2 assists. The Knights were 2/4 on the PP.

Bye bye Blues, the Hurricanes came to play and keep their hopes for finishing 1st in the eastern conf. and overall. They out shot the Blues 42-31. The Blues did have a 2-1 lead in the second period, but, Carolina came back to tie it with Andersen (goalie) getting an assist on it. Then Slavin scored the winning goal with 12 minutes left in the 3rd perod. Guentzel scored both empty net goals. Binnington was excellent in net despite the loss.

The Predators win as they try to remain 7th place in the western conf. with the Kings and Knights right behind them. Forsberg gets the hat trick and Lankinen makes 25 saves in the win against his former team. The Predators went 3/3 on the PP and out shot the Bhawks 40-26.

Lol at the Oilers, they lose to the lowly Coyotes in OT. The single point for the Oilers clinches at least 2nd place in the Pacific Div and home ice advantage in round 1.
