I don't know about that. If Parise and Suter were not on the Wild they probably be at the bottom of the conference. Those two since signing have made the Wild a playoff contender each year.

Man I was really hoping Philly would do something stupid... maybe they still will.

He did trade Burns for Setuguchi and Coyle... not what Burke would refer to a "skinning" completely... but when you think about what Burns brings compared to Coyle 7 years later... it's a pretty bad trade.

It’s also impeded their need for rebuilding years ago. They are a good team, but not good enough to beat Nashville and Winnipeg.

I think the major takeaway is the strong relationship between Quenneville and the Fletchers.
