I new it was going to be fantastic. If you were a fan of Odenkirk you knew it was going to be great too.

Odenkirk made Saul. He brought him out and gave him life. And I loved the time jumping. It's definitely the way I saw them telling the story. I didn't realize that the season was only 10 episodes and when the end came I thought to myself... Man, that looked a lot like a wrap up for next year. Then I went to IMDB and cried.

Rhea Seehorn is also in Franklin and Bash which is the show where I developed a little boy crush on her. So I'm pretty happy she got on this career launching show.

I've been a fan of Odenkirk since his Mr. Show days, but I still wasn't sure how well he would do with carrying a show as the lead character. Even his stuff in Breaking Bad, while good, was still definitely supporting role only material. It's very fun to see him take this opportunity and crush it though, it'll be interesting to see where he goes from here

The funny thing about Michael Mando is that he has been billed as a part of the main cast, yet he only appeared in 3 episodes or so.

The show has been a worthy successor to BB. Equally about Saul and Mike so that it's not necessarily relying too much on a single character and take off along some different plot line.

I am curious, did Saul use the witness relocation guy before for himself? He seemed to know a lot about him before mentioning him and the process to Walt, and seemed to know what was going on when he and Walt got picked up. On the other hand, kind of suspicious to end up in NM as a lawyer again, so maybe he never used the services., but I just thought maybe he had.

I think he mentioned that he'd used the guy for other clients that needed to disappear.

Seems they want to introduce him slowly, but I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of him in season 2.

Jimmy is just scraping the top of the pond of scum of criminal activity.

He's just a con-artist at this point, yet to hop into bed with hardened criminals...

I spent the last month on Gilligan's Island - binge watching all of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

Excellent series both.

I think they did a very good job in showing what it is like being a legal aid public defender and elder law attorney. I loved the scenes of Jimmy with the elders.

Chuck is an excellent character - so well played by David St Hubbins. I like what Chuck said - do a good job and the clients will come. Maybe in season two we find out what caused him to invent the allergy to electricity.

Kim and Betsy are so sexy, in completely different ways. Kim as the faithful friend, Betsy for her crazy confidence.

Will there be a body count on Saul to rival Breaking Bad (269)?

I knew a lawyer that became a "Slipping Jimmy". He is disbarred now. I always wondered what caused that worm to turn. Probably greed, wanting to seem important, pressure from bad clients.

Odenkirk had three separate opportunities to make his mark on S.N.L. writing from 1987 to 1991, again in 1993, and for the last time from 1994 to 1995. Odenkirk created one of the show’s most iconic characters: motivational speaker Matt Foley.

McKean was a performer on SNL in 1994-1995.

I just blitzed through season one. What an awesome show. Simply incredible. Loved the sound editing. Loved the dialogue, and the soundtrack.

Speaking of soundtrack, theres some piece of music that I think appeared twice, but I can't remember where. Sorry for being vague. It was just instrumental but had a really cool beat to it. And it wasn't any of mthe Chris Joss as far as I can tell. Anyone know? I may rewatch just to find out.

Edit - I'm realising how dumb that question is. Theres too much music in the show. Screw it, it's good enough for a rewatch anyways.

I'm excited to the point I won't even watch that. I went into this show with such low expectations and with now, with the exception of Game of Thrones, it is my favorite active series on TV.
