Some annoying stuff but at least it's playing now. I guess to be expected on a start up.

Cavalary's back ups better than Pacific's best players.

Despite the size, Pacific FC's stadium is really nice. Love the glulam wood beams that cantilever over half the main stands.
The height of the camera is annoying though. Couldn't they get a jack like Cavalry does?

There is a hydro pole blocking the camera going any higher.

Maybe if Marcus Haber spent less time getting #### buzzed into his hair and more time at practice Pacific wouldn't be so bad...

What a week for Pasquotti. Game winner against forge, 2 assists today. He has been excellent tracking back as well. Great effort from him.

He really is. Never makes a mistake really. Looks like he’s 14 years old, but does not get pushed off the ball. Excited to see where his career takes him.

So I’ve now seen fairly large parts of 3 Pacific matches and other than Chung there hasn’t been anyone on that squad who’s really impressed me. No wonder they’re struggling for goals, they have almost zero creativity

Haber, Nakajima-Farran, and De Jong (although injured) . . . All a bit older but should have brought some quality and experience to PFC. Doesn't seem to be the case.

I like De Jong and they certainly miss him. Haber will get some chances and goals due to his size and strength but I don’t think of him as being able to create on his own without proper service
As for the match, a great result! They looked confident and comfortable out there. Great that they could rotate the squad. Hopefully the injuries aren’t serious.
I think Buscher has the best touch on the team, some of his passes are incredible. He’ll be a big piece as the season goes along

Cavalry head and shoulders above Pacific tonight. Impressed with how most of the new players looked. Malyk Hamilton looked pretty comfortable at RB, Loturi slotted into the midfield well and I also liked Patino up front. Pasquotti's a bulldog on the wing. Considering this team has missed it's most experienced defender (Trafford) all season, we're really solid at the back.
Saturday should be a good match.

Considering that wasn't our first team, that was an impressive and promising performance. The way in which the squad players comfortably slotted in and confidently played the same 'build from the back' style we've seen was so impressive. It exhibits the identity that Tommy has imprinted on this team and, likely, club. I found quite a few people saying the use of a lot of former Foothills FC players would provide a temporary boost while other teams started to gel. However, I think this is an underestimation of the Foothills identity Tommy created at Foothills and now provides a solid base for Cavalry. As he's made considerate additions of skill that match our style, mindset and ethos, he's brought a functioning and winning culture to the club. That places us miles ahead the other clubs who are essentially franchises just getting started. Ironically, I think we have the advantage a lot though Forge would have with their Sigma base. #UpTheCavs

To summarize last night's action:
- York 9 play a strong squad, and get a draw against Blainville, an amateur side.
- HFX Wanderers employ some squad rotation, and eek out an injury time win against Vaughan, and amateur side.
- Cavalry employ heavy squad rotation (6 players with their first start of the season), and thoroughly dominate Pacific FC, who are playing a strong squad.

Also, shout out to the Lake Side Buoys for bringing good atmosphere for the entire game, despite watching their side get thoroughly pummeled by Cavalry.
