He said he'd be back: Arnold Schwarzenegger is Conan the Barbarian - Again
he is back
"Schwarzenegger, 65, will play the sword-swinging hero in "The Legend of Conan," 30 years after the film that launched the Austrian body-builder as a Hollywood star."
It will be interesting to see the story arc because of his age.

I think the director said it would be set in the winter. Conan will be covered in a fur coat.

I have a feeling Arnold will still look better than anyone on this board tarpless come time to shoot the movie.
I was sad when Arnold left for politics, and now I am very glad he is back.
Wow there is even bigger news at the bottom:
Quote:
He starred alongside Hollywood's veteran action heroes in this summer's "The Expendables 2," and is lined up to star in five other films, including thriller "Ten" and "Triplets," a sequel to his hit 1988 comedy "Twins" alongside co-star Danny DeVito
|
Twins was a sweet movie.

Could actually work. The last Arnold Conan movie ended with a lead into "Conan the Conquerer", which was supposed to be about Conan's rule as king. Never happened, but a Conan movie about his later years as King, would actually be pretty interesting.

2) Became a world class bodybuilder and won numerous awards competing against bodybuilders from all over the world. His weightlifting guides became a standard for bodybuilding.
3) Became an extremely successful businessman using fame from bodybuilding.
4) Became a huge movie star in a foreign country spanning many years commanding millions of dollars despite not being entirely fluent in English.
5) Despite not being a native or ever having any sort of higher education, became the Governor of not only a State in the U.S., but the most populous one at that.
While he's had the whole cheating scandal surrounding him lately, it's still pretty incredible what he's accomplished. To top it off his ex-wife comes from a very wealthy family herself, so props to him for that. Guy has lived the "American Dream".
