Wow... Wolf with 3 shutouts in 4 games.
Listened to the third period. The Heat were hanging on at the end there, but it sounded like guys like Tuulola and Gawdin were making smart plays.
Pretty awesome to see for the Flames franchise. Developing winners.

They now will play Chicago Wolves in the Western Conference finals. The top two teams in the regular season.

Um... that's amazing!
How many times in history has a team ever recorded all of its wins in a playoff series by shutouts?

Solid effort all around. Tons of blocked shots.
Wolf is so positionally sound.
Stockton single game playoff record: 40 shots/40 saves.

Thanks Scorp: "Wolf became only the third goaltender in AHL history to post three shutouts in a single playoff series, joining Mika Noronen and Gord Henry."
Noronen and Henry didn't have the most illustrious NHL careers. However I remember Noronen was highly touted, along with Ryan Miller, as Sabres goalie prospects when they still had Hasek as their starter.

Nice to see Wolf bounce back after a rough game. I try not to get too excited about goalie prospects, but I think the Flames have something with him. Let’s go Heat!

Wow.
40 save shut out for a 1-0 win in the series clincher?
3 shut outs in a 4 game series?
Wolf is something else.

So Baby Flames beat baby Oilers and baby Avs. I like that!
Now let's beat those baby Canes so we can face the baby Habs or Blues for the Calder cup baby.

Havent had this much hype for a non-first round prospect since Gaudreau.
One thing that strikes me when scanning Wolf’s hockeydb is the amount of games he has played vs other goalie prospects. Even this year, 47 pro games + playoffs, thats huge for a 21 year old goalie.
