Oh man, the TRD Pro 2023 sequoia is my dream vehicle these days. What a beauty.
2nd most desired for me is the Acadia AT4.
I'll never own either of them but it'd make like so much better.

I agree with the v90 praise though. That's a nice place to be.

The Durango hellcat has a bit more in the bag to make it better. Throttle house did a good job pointing those differences out.

Had a cool experience in Vegas this week where we had the opportunity to be one of first regular public trips through the new Vegas Loop between Resorts World and the Convention Centre. It it a really cool setup but only a single tunnel right now so it is a little slow because of one way traffic. They don't have permission or regulatory approval yet to use the autonomous driving through the tunnel though.

Recently noticed that the drivers side armrest on my explorer is starting to split at a seem.
Anyone know of shops in town that might be able to have a look at this for me? It would be sweet if they were located in the south somewhere

Get the armrest re-upholstered in fine Corinthian leather....
But seriously, any leather repair place should be able to stitch it together for you if you can just take the armrest cushion itself in.

The Corinthian leather would be nice. I am assuming that stuff is sold in the leather district on8th?
To be honest I was hoping to somehow get this done without taking the door panel off as I don’t think the armrest itself comes off

Mazda dealership recommendation? Unless there is something the missus really hates about the vehicle, we’re getting a CX-5. Will have to factory order as pretty much everything available is Red (she wants blue), so just looking to avoid a pushy salesman and annoying add-on tactics.

I thought people only ended up with blue cars when there was nothing nice available.

Sorry, that was dumb. I really like cornflower blue GTIs. I know there are nice blues. I just prefer Mazda's red.

Same as any manufacturer, the best way to do it is to do it out of town. Dealers in Calgary are so bad, much nicer experience literally anywhere else, even Edmonton.
Check out Gary Moe in Red Deer, never been to their Mazda dealer but their VW dealer is great

If you ask for Corinthian leather, people will either look with a blank stare, or bring out their best Ricardo Montalban impression.

Just make sure they don't put a Gary Moe banner across your back window. There's this Jetta I see on my way to work with the hugest dealership decal I have ever seen and it drives me nuts this guy accepted it on his car and then hasn't even taken it off.

Nah it’s fair. There are some really pretty blues, Mazda’s isn’t particularly much id anything. Just sort of meh. The red is too loud for her, while I’ve had red 4 out of 5 vehicles, and would actually move that Soul Red.

I have a 2019 V90 Cross Country and so far maintenance costs are about 1/2 of what my Tacoma was.

How fast is the V90 from a seat-of-the-pants perspective? Don't they have like, 300hp or something? Is it adequate? Peppy? The thing that scares me about owning a Volvo is it not feeling spry. I haven't driven one, though, so don't really know.

I've driven the V90 and it definitely is not peppy or spry. It feels smooth, comfortable and refined. It is very clearly a luxury car, not a sports luxury car. I didn't drive the Polestar tune but have a hard time believing it would make THAT much of a difference.
The V60 Polestar is the one you want if you want peppy (and to be fair I've only driven the older 6 cylinder version of that).

Jfc I couldn't even figure out how to find a polestar v60 on either the volvo site or the polestar site. On polestar my options were a 1, 2 or 3. Seemed like the 3 was an suv? Idfk. Maybe it's just that their mobile site sucks. I'll check on my pc tomorrow at work. Just wanted a pic and a price.
