so far, he has a winning record on one of the worst teams in the ECHL. He is going to see a lot of activity and a lot of shots. In the long run, it may be good for his development

All I can get
|
Total number of Flames organization contracts sits at 48/50 (you always want a little wiggle room for injuries/trade). I think his late placement played a factor in his not getting an ELC right off the bat. Perhaps when a few goalies come off the books (*cough* Parsons)?

Well, Chechelev is playing... so that's good I guess.
9 games, 4 wins, 3.36 GAA and a 0.899 Save %
He's a..... long term prospect.

10 Games, 5 wins, 3.13GAA and .905 Save %..... now. First seaon in NA, doesnt play on a great team. He's doing just fine.

Chechelev wins Goalie of the Week, going .50 GAA, .988 in two wins last week-including a 46-save shutout. At the same time, Sergeev won Goaltender of the Week in the USHL.

3-1 win for the Mavericks over the Allen Americans as Chechelev stops 26 of 27 shots.
He's established himself as the Mavericks number one. I wonder now if the Flames give him an ELC.
