Oh PSG...

Quote:
In 2017, PSG more than doubled the record fee paid for a player when they lured Neymar to the Parc des Princes, splashing €222 million for the Brazilian and then another €180 million for Kylian Mbappe.

UEFA can sanction clubs that violate the rules. Expulsion from European competitions is the severest of penalties, while clubs can also be the subject of fines, transfer bans, and the suppression of prize money.

Interesting. So if Arsenal make the Europa League Final it looks like Mkhitaryan wouldnt play.

Quote:
Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will not travel to Azerbaijan for Thursday's Europa League game at Qarabag amid the country's conflict with his native Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

Arsenal coach Unai Emery said last month that he hoped Mkhitaryan could make the trip despite the political situation, but sources said both the player and his family were against going and the club have respected their wishes.

The Nagorno-Karabakh region, along with adjacent territory, has been under the control of Armenian soldiers and local ethnic Armenian forces since a 1994 ceasefire ended a six-year war, but violence continues to break out.

The dispute could also affect Mkhitaryan's availability for the Europa League final, should Arsenal reach it, with the game to be played at the Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku.

Interesting. Reminds me of the tribulations Berbatov had, and how United helped him.

^ it’s crazy that this story seems to have stayed under the radar for the most part. Like there doesn’t seem to be much or anything in the mainstream media about a serious allegation?

I was really looking forward to Spurs v. Barcelona tomorrow, but the injuries are really mounting. Eriksen, Aurier, Vertonghen, Dembele are all out until after the international break. I realize that getting a result against them wasn’t going to be easy to begin with, but that’s a lot of key players out.

Man City staring at five straight CL defeats kinda makes the PL look like a farmers league.

Wish I could understand the logic in how teams choose some of their kits. This hideous City kit that doesn't make sense colour wise, the green kits for Spurs and Brighton even though they have no green in their badge colours. Just odd.

And more poor from the ref, that's a clear penalty on Sane but nothing.

One big decision each way now, should’ve been a penalty for City

David Silva quite literally steals the win. Unlucky for Hoffenheim, brilliant from Silva though.
