Detroit is a bottom 5 team, no participation ribbons for outplaying them and losing

I saw the end of it and was surprised they didn't challenge the goalie interference call. Maybe a longshot to win the challenge but it's a tying goal with like 2 minutes left.

He was in the white too, and like you say, theres only 2 mins left

The chances of winning the challenge are higher than a team scoring a goal with 2 mins left to tie it

You are asking the ref to reverse his call and if he doesn't its a PP for the other team. And he certainly got a piece of the goalie.

Found this as well

So its 15% of the time on average you tie the game when you pull the goalie

Average pull time last few years is between 1:40 and 1:46

I think there was around 207 left when the goal happened so it's somewhat close

I'd say you have a better than 15% chance of it being overturned and a good goal

The Habs starting 0-3 makes me happy. Such a garbage run last year and they weren't BuiLT foR thE PLaYOffs. They were a bad team that fluked it's way into the playoffs and then an even bigger fluke to get to the finals. Hopefully this is a long and painful year for their fans and bandwagoners.

Ref made the call immediately and there was a bump...almost zero chance he overturns

The Wild are enjoying their California road trip to open the season. They get their 2nd win of the season as they defeated the Kings 3-2 in reg time. Talbot was in net again making 29 saves. The Kings got on the board in the 2nd period and then the Wild scored 3 times after that to take a 3-1 lead into the 3rd period. Doughty is on the offense right now, he's got 6 points already (1g, 5a)!

The Hurricanes beat the Predators 3-2 in reg time. Freddie Anderson was solid in net for Carolina, he made 38 saves to get 1st star. I wonder if the Leafs are going to regret letting him go. Both teams sucked on the PP, each going 0/4 which meant perfect PK. The Predators are 0-2 now, both losses on home ice.

Greiss was the reason for the Red Wings beating the Canucks as he stopped 40 shots.
