Who's going to win this year?? The Bears and the Bulls have locked into their positions and now all we can do is wait.
I'm stuck somewhere in the middle as a small market investor who doesn't understand as much as I'd like...but I'd say I'm:
First game of the season - This team has trained me to be Bearish
First five games - Bullish
First month - Neutral
Until the All-Star break - Neutral
After the All-Star break - Very Bullish
Regular season - Slightly Bullish
Playoffs - The Bears will lose everything and cry
If any newcomers are interested in investing like many here have...Please don't listen to my optimism!! It can be incredibly frustrating, you may lose your patience, you could lose more than that, and it may not be worth it, however...
It might be worth it.

The only thing I can say for certain is that the 2 spark plugs, Johnny and Chucky looked like they were motivated in the pre-season. If they stay motivated Calgary will do alright. The defense is good the goaltending is better. Lindholm and Backlund are good at their center ice ice roles so if Monahan has a resurgence the team will be good down the middle. Lots of ifs however if the bus drivers are going it tends to drag everyone else along.
Here's hoping Sutter has that big hockey brain focused on beating McDavid and Draisaitl. (The rest of the Oilers aren't a problem.)
