And is Stone the 8th D? I didn't think he was taking up one of the 23 slots right now either?
Seems like there might be a way to free up a roster spot for a call-up right now, but I admit to not knowing how all of this could work.

Pitlick was not put on LTIR because they are hoping he is back soon. So he is still on the 23 man roster

Coleman and Stone are on the roster and count.
Pitlick counts current because he's not on IR, not sure why.

Coleman takes a spot on the 23 man roster. Pitlick wasn't placed on IR, Richardson was, not sure about the reasoning aside from the Flames wanting to save as much of their 300k of cap space as possible.
Yes Stone is the 8th D.

I actually like running 11 forwards. Should be double shifting Gaudreau around and hiding him through the line up. Him and Lucic always seem to have Chemistry
