I'm really enjoying this season of Mr. Robot.
So much darkness, so much tragedy. I'm dying to find out how it ends, but sad that it's going to be over. 6 episodes down, 7 to go.

While Batwoman got a lot of hype on Showcase and to me its incredibly dull and badly acted who's only redeemable character is the main big bad Alice.
You don't hear much about Pennyworth on the same channel. But its exceptionally well acted, its got a great storyline, you see a lot of the early Batman characters including Bruce Wayne's parents.
It plays like a rough and dirty James Bond flick, and you really find out who Alfred was before he became the Urbane Butler.
I tend to think that this Pennyworth links closely with the Alfred from Gotham.

Now that I've got Hulu working I'm finally diving into It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and I'm sad that it's taken me this long. Although it is quite fun to get surprised by all the most famous bits I've seen on youtube and get the wider context. Almost through season 3, favorite episodes so far are the McPoyles holding them hostage and Sweet Dee is Dating A ######ed Person (with the creation of Night Man/Day Man)

Gets better and better. Wait for the Night Man Cometh musical episode, fantastic, they actually took the musical on the road.
Also this show features the best Scott Bakula cameo that could ever be done. Quantum Leap reference? Yes please.
edit: and also the Wade Boggs episode. Classic.

David Attenborough's latest, Seven Worlds One Planet, is another genius entry in the various series of programs looking in our planet and life on it.
If you haven't seen Planet Earth, Planet Earth II, Life, Blue Planet, Blue Planet II, The Hunt, Our Planet, watch them now. They're all streaming on Netflix.

Just finished Netflix's "World War II in Color" - man what a fantastic series. It is fascinating looking back and seeing all the small little things that changed the course of history. It is beautifully done IMHO

Looks like a ripoff of Coyote Peterson, who's been doing that for years on Youtube, and without all the extra reality show BS
Yeah my kids have been watching him for years. The episode where he eats the Durion fruit is hilarious. You just know they must be awful when a guy like Peterson can't handle it.

I've watched the first two or three, its fantastic. I think the next one up is the battle of Midway.

They did a great job casting Caplin as Annie Wilkes. She feels just like a younger version of Kathy Bates' character from Misery.
Last week, they had a flashback episode where Robin Weigert (Calamity Jane from Deadwood, among other roles) played Annie's mother and she was also perfectly cast.

Turn up the good, turn down the suck!
I've had a really hard time with this show. I want to like it and get into it but I just find it difficult.
I think I'm stuck a couple episodes into Season 3.
Without spoiling it I'll say if you don't watch any more you won't miss much. I watched two season 4 episodes and basically gave up, watched the last episode that's enough to get the gist of it.
They dragged it out too long, shame because the concept is great and the acting is top notch.
The Crown is back with for a third season on Netflix, turned off the Flames game and watched episode one... fantastic as always. Olivia Colman was the perfect choice.

I liked the story, I liked the idea, the characters and the acting and production is all really good but it was sooooo sloooooow.
