Mark Stone out indefinetly
Feels like Vegas is set to max LTIR for the trade deadline

Vegas Golden Knights right wing Mark Stone underwent successful back surgery on Tuesday, January 31. He will be out of the lineup indefinitely but is expected to make a full recovery.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Chad Prusmack in Denver, CO. Stone suffered the injury January 12 and began rehabilitation work shortly thereafter. After a setback, it was determined that surgery was the best course of action.

I know a bunch of people thought Vegas was playing the LTIR shell game, but Stone has had back issues for a bunch of years. I am sure they would much rather have him in the line up down the stretch. I guess with 4 more years after this season, Vegas will have 9.5M to LTIR every time his back flares up.

Could be two years on a row where Vegas goes from 1st in the division at the halfway point to missing the playoffs.

Because he has to uproot his life he likes currently in Chicago. He has two SC, he has no motivation at all to move. I only included the Rangers because he is close to Panarin still so an outside chance there. It is pretty obvious from previous comments he doesn't want to move during the season. Now after his contract ends who knows though if the Hawks win Bedard he will probably go back there.
