Hoping for a result tonight that gives us a better Canada with a stronger economy and a driving force on environmental issues. Not sure what party will give that to us but I'm open to many options.
Interesting that the Conservatives are getting votes in the Maritimes.

I predict a strong liberal and ndp lead in the poles,
till all the conservative voters get off work

Nothing matters until they start counting Ont votes but it's surprising to see the CPC doing well considering the Libs ran table last time in Atlantic Canada.
Edit: Why do they even show results of ridings with 0 votes counted?

A lot of those ridings look like they are a lead of only a few votes one way or the other. I'm actually pretty envious of voting scenarios like that where you can actually see that your vote really matters.

338's prediction and the polls are looking pretty close to spot on so far. Interestingly the one variation both the Libs and Cons are a bit higher in the popular vote than expected, whether that's because the urban vote in Halifax that goes more NDP/Green hasn't come in yet or people consolidating to vote strategically will be interesting to see.

Most of the Conservative voters probably voted after they hit the early bird special at Ricky's this morning.

Pretty surprising to see an NDP lead in St John's though. That looks like a real shocker.

If the Cons pickup even 7-10 in Atlantic Canada it should portend well for Ontario.
