So I haven't been following this super closely. Did this announcement come out of no where or was this planned? Wouldn't store have this stuff ready for sale Thursday if they knew about it?
I think it was always planned to have edible legalization follow a year after general legalization. Problem with having stock on day 1 though is food expires a lot faster than weed does, and I doubt any stores wanted to put money into stock before the law actually changed, as there always could have been legislative delays

If anyone ever sees Jean Guy flower being sold anywhere, post here. It's the most potent cannabis I've ever encountered. Stuff I had was 26% THC.
If you are interested I could check here in BC for you? I am pretty sure I saw that Fire and Flower in Canmore had it a few weeks ago, maybe the ones in Calgary have some.

I did find some at a store on MacLeod, but it was only 18%. I want the super strong stuff. I do appreciate your offer, but I don't know if it's legal to send between provinces? Wouldn't want you to put yourself at any risk for an Internet strange like me. Thanks, though!

The Four20 premium market store on 53rd ave and 74th st SE has that strain. However it's only about 16% I think. I bought some last week and it's not as strong as what you had. There was definitely some stronger strains for sale.

IMHO the best portable vape is the Storz and Bickel 'Mighty'. I was visiting Seattle and another visitor in the same AirBNB broke his out and I was a convert from that moment.
It's a bit bulky but S&B make a smaller version named 'Crafty' if that's a problem.
It's also expensive but I've had mine for >3 years without a problem.
