This past week a local little girl was apprehended while walking with her friend. She struggled and people saw it and tried to stop the struggle and called 911 and reported the kidnappers license plate number. In a matter of a few hour they found the guy and he had bound the little girl and shot her in the back of the head, and was putting her body in trash bags. The Westboro Baptist Church is picketing her vigil this Saturday because 'God struck her down because he hates gays.'

I am so sickened by this. My family and I are going to be part of the 'human wall' to protect her family members from this compilation of wasted skin.

The little girl's name was Hailey Owens, and she was just 10 years old.

Thank you for doing this. If you can, please recruit as many people as possible for that wall. In fact maybe your sons football team could have a practice session tackling those losers to the ground.

I really hate to condone the use of firearms on people, but WBC people really make me question myself on that one. I'm so surprised no one has caused physical damage to them yet.

There will be about 10,000 people there to block them led by the Patriot Guard, just as there were at Mizzou when they celebrated Michael Sam. There were thousands of people lined in a huge wall all the way around the stadium. Missouri and Kansas have all kinds of groups to protect innocent people who deal with horrifying circumstances and also have to deal with these idiots. And Dion, yes- my kids' football team (as many as possible) will be there, and so will others in the district.

The guy that killed the girl, and the leader of this church should be tied back to back, with one plastic bag tied over both their heads. It's not capital punishment if they kill each other by breathing, right?

They are a bunch of lawyers. Their whole 'church' is based on money they've received from suing people over just that. They bank on the beatings and infringement upon 'their rights.'

That's awesome! Clearly the word is getting out and people are well aware what the scums of Westbro are up too.

With all that great support it makes me wonder why those scum bags even show up. Pretty hard to protest when a wall of people keeps you away from the funeral.

When the Westboro Baptist Church protested a soldier's funeral in Oklahoma, their tires were slashed. People in town refused to repair them.

I can't imagine the pain that poor family is going through. Then to have those Westboro #######s picketing the child's funeral, let alone for an unrelated and BS reason is simply inexcusable.
