I agree with you.
10-2. Come on. This is supposed to be one of England's best teams.

I feel Wenger has been let down by those heart- and spineless bastards again. Sanchez smirking on the bench when it's 1-5 really sums it up. Not a single Arsenal player played for the badge today.

they aren't that far away
2 or 3 places need to be improved on, and some fear instilled in the squad

Dont even get me started on Sanchez.
Talented player but everyone has played with a little bastard like him.
Everything good is entirely his doing and everything that goes wrong is everyone else's fault. Get lost.

"2 or 3 places"? They need a striker, as always. They'll need to overhaul their central midfield. They'll need to replace Sanchez in the summer. They'll need to overhaul their central defense apart from Koscielny. That's actually a decent sized rebuild if you ask me.

I would get rid of Ozil too if we're talking heartless players. Basically never fights hard when it's not going his way.

Is there a franchise that Kronke is involved with that isn't a mess at the moment?

if I were Arsenal I'd call Ranieri. Or Laurent Blanc.

Well by this point we all know they're going to go on a run to make it into the top four at the end of the season though. Next year you just rinse and repeat?

Allegri seems to be the name going around the most.

Thats what matters though.
When Leicester won the Premier League they were, what? Paid the 4th or 5th most? For winning.
Sorry, if the Cups dont matter because they're small, and the League doesnt matter and then the only thing that does matter is the Champion's League, then as long as you get far enough along to get paid thats success.
The sad fact of the matter is that the Games mostly dont matter anymore.
The real battles are fought in boardrooms over TV rights and Kit deals.

Arsenal bench boss Arsene Wenger took aim at referee Anastasios Sidiropoulos following his side's latest hammering at the hands of Bayern Munich, scolding the match official after the Gunners were sent packing from the Champions League by virtue of a second consecutive 5-1 loss to the Bundesliga behemoth.
"I'm absolutely revolted and sorry for the people who paid a lot of money to watch this game," he said of the officiating, per the BBC.

Sorry Arsene...I mean...did you expect the ref to hand you 8-10 penalties?
Its not like the odd call here or there was the difference in this closely contested tie.

to be fair, they weren't lucky with the officiating today. IMO the red card shouldn't have been given and they were a couple of situations were it could have gone their way (Vidal could have seen red for the tackle on Sanchez and they also had a penalty shout in the first half).

I didnt see the game so I'll have to defer to you, but the referee, be it in this tie or the last, is not the reason that Arsenal get to stay home.
Its not like Bayern scored a ton of illegal goals or that Arsenal were denied a ton of legal ones.
The referees did not decide this tie. Good, bad, ugly or otherwise, the blame still falls at Arsenal's feet.
If it was 3-2 and on a knife's edge then okay, my opinion might be different. But it was 10-2. The odd whistle here or there was not what made this tie a travesty.

On another note, if they had been 'lucky' could it possible have altered the result in any meaningful way? I bet not.
"The refs were crap!!"
Sure. Right, wrong, whatever, does it change anything? It wasnt even close.

He's surely not blaming himself, and blaming the players is a recipe for the whole season to derail. He should have just blamed Bayern fans for throwing toilet paper on the pitch.

Look, I won't disagree. All I'm saying is that they were up 1-0 today and, with a bit of luck, could have gone to halftime with 2-0. Obviously the tie would have still been over because of the first leg, but a good result today would have helped Wenger save some face. Instead, Koscielny gets sent off and, because they are obviously spineless bastards, they simply collapsed and imploded. The ref wasn't the biggest issue for Wenger in this tie, but he was a factor today and it's easier for Wenger to criticize him than to publicly throw his team under the bus.

again, they were up 1-0. This wasn't a blowout until the last 20 minutes when the Arsenal players just rolled over.

That would have been more reasonable than 'the refs were bad.'
Unless the refs kicked 8-10 goals past you its hard to pin this on them.
