Wow. I'm just green with jealousy. I sure wish we could've done 7 years * 8M with Tkachuk. That seems to be about the comparable.

Another good deal. Possibly the best RFA deal of the summer (fall)?

Good deal for the Jets and even better they get an American player locked up long term like that.

Great deal by the Jets. Shows that Connor likes playing in Winnipeg.

And they still have enough money for Buff if he comes back.
That's some GM wizardry right there.

That contract makes the Kevin Hayes one look that much worse.

Much better deal than Laine.

Chevy always gets good deals. Probably the best contract negotiator in the NHL.

Yeah it's probably like this "so take my final offer, or I am trading you to the oilers"

I think Marner and Aho probably have worse deals.
But other than those two, the Tkachuk deal is probably the worst of the summer. It's nothing crazy though, so I'm not willing to get worked up over it.

Just reminding that in 2015 Bruins selected Zboril, DeBrusk and Zachary freakin' Senyshyn with their #13, #14 and #15 OA. The next three players selected were Mathew Barzahl, Kyle Connor and Thomas Chabot.

If the flames did that I'd stop being a fan. Seriously. Franchise center, franchise d man, first line winger. You're set for the next decade in one draft.

Bruins are lucky they have a great team and some good will from recent success. That 2015 draft will haunt them for eternity with what ifs. They win the cup last year no question if they picked properly.

Why on Earth do you think Aho's deal is bad?!
