Their ten game winning streak was fun and awesome but there was an extraordinary amount of luck involved — I think they had 3 OT wins and 4 shootout wins in that streak. The pucks have just been bouncing the other way.

Plus the secondary scoring dried up, the top line cooled off a little bit, and Hutton has been pretty ‘meh’ the last 20 games after starting well.

They aren’t as good as the team that won 10 in a row, but they aren’t as bad as the team that’s gone 6-12 in the last bunch of games and got blown out by the Oilers. There’s a playoff team in there, I just don’t think Housley is the coach to get them there.
Hire McLellan and watch him coach them into the POs, while Hitch just misses in Edmonton. LOLs.

The fans and media in Buffalo want Quenneville. As does every struggling market right now. I feel we’d be in the mix but get Babcock’d again when he picks a big market team and we end up with another loser.

Quenneville would cost a fortune.

Nothing to do with Vikings per se, but an opportunity to post this beauty once again.

That's because San Jose is on a 7 game streak so the Flames have basically been treading water with their wins. It would be really nice to get some sort of breathing room in the division, but that means they have to run the table in the next 4 games until the all-star break

Mikael Backlund hitting these franchise tally's is making me feel really old.

Money is not an issue in Buffalo. They have one of the richest owners in sports

Terry Pagula

Net worth 5 Billion

IIRC, end of month until he could be cleared. I would add another month for farm conditioning since he has been out for so long.

Dammit. I forgot about the lockouts that were induced by the Crusades. Dark times.

I’ll be way up at the back of 202 if anyone wants to say hi. Likely the only Sabres fan, shouldn’t be hard to spot

Johnny and Tkachuk are doing their little hand eye drill of Johnny lifting the puck over the net from behind, Bure style. Then Tkachuk baseball bats it in.
