Still have a soft spot for these, maybe it's the conference names, maybe they're the first ones I remember, there's no logical reason to like them, but yet I do

These are what I had in mind exactly when I thought of 'All Star'

Those, and the 1996 beauties:

Something in that arena of being a bit campy but monochromatic to avoid team fouls... and maybe even a touch of that teams colour palette integrated so the jersey on it's own looks good.

The idea is there...

The 1996 All Star Game. Those jerseys, the glowing puck. What memories.

It would be cool if each player's numbers and name were in their regular team colours to fit the black and white jersey. It would be a good way to identify players during the game on television.

I freakin' love our jersey without the stupid flags on them! Winner!

Also, I think these were the best

I like the concept. I wish they'd stuck with the 4 themes though. You could have done the same thing and had a couple teams with different (SJ based) themes.

The fact that you can only buy a Medium a day after their release shows how hungry Flames fans are for a jersey without the flags and piping.

I love the all black look and think they are the base for what a true 3rd jersey should be with retro's being the norm and a more modern 3rd.

Fan Attic had the actual adidas version tonight at the dome and not just the Fanatics replicas.

They were selling fast.

I might have a problem and have bought both colours...

Nice and simple. I actually wouldn't hate those if they added the Flames colours and made them permanent.

These are always regarded as one of the best All Star jerseys.

To the poster who said he never sees an all star jersey being worn I own several including last year's Johnny Gaudreau white and tge Kucherov blue from Tampa all star game. Got them for $100 bucks each a month after the all star game

Forgot to mention these jerseys are basically a rip off of last year's NBA all star game. They did The EXACT SAME THING. Black and white jerseys with team logos instead of traditional all star jerseys. These areNt bad but they should have atleast put all star patches on them in color

For those that bought one. How does the material feel in comparison to regular adidas replicas?

I wonder if the manufacturing process was the same, or if they ended up using the "new material."

How often do you wear them though? I have a 2010 Team Canada Iggy jersey and a 2011 Boston Bruins Tim Thomas jersey (that one was a drunk purchase, no regrets) that just sit in my closet. If I go to a game, I'm wearing my red Flames jersey because I'm not a muppet. I know people buy the all-star jerseys, I just never see them actually worn

These new ones will be different though, I'm sure you'll see them at games (hopefully not in the playoffs though), and if this thread is any indication I bet these will be the best selling all-star jerseys by a huge margin. I'm honestly surprised it took this long for the NHL to switch to team personalized jerseys, it's going to make them a lot more money
