Ducks trade Aberg to Wild for Kloos
https://twitter.com/user/status/1085678209428086784
Well, the Ducks got worse. Aberg was second on the team in scoring with 11 goals. Justin Kloos is an AHLer.

What did they give up for Aberg again?

Apparently the Ducks had no room for Aberg now that the team is getting healthier. They were going to put Aberg on waivers. So at least they got something for him.

They claimed him off waivers. Still, at the same time... he was scoring this season on a team where hardly anyone else was. It's not like Kloos is any younger, either.
Both players are 25, one's scoring in the NHL, one isn't even in the league. Befuddling trade for Murray.

Picked him up on waivers, didn't work, got a bit of an asset in return. Tough to criticize but it all means next to nothing.

That's a very high ratio of vowels being traded.

though Aberg was a guy that was pretty interesting... bottom 6 guy, but not doing too bad with the ducks...11 goals? typical oiler mismanagement

Aberg is the best player in the trade and it's not even Kloos.

Clearly neither player had a no-trade-Kloos in his contract.
