radio guys were describing Tiger as looking tired after the morning rounds. Didn't seem himself. Said that it looks like the amount of high quality and high pressure golf he has played in the last few weeks may be showing.
Some were surprised he was going out in the afternoon matches.
Fleetwood and Molinari are 4-0 so far. Wow. Their closest match has been a 3 and 1 victory.

The odds are obviously against the US but I suspect they will make a contest out of it. For all the doom and gloom they do have a few guys playing well. Winning 8 of 12 singles matches not impossible.

2018 PGA, Brook Henderson Is Awesome Thread
I just don't think they have it in them to comeback. They give it a good run but here is my prediction 7-5 USA:
Rory vs JT
Casey vs Brooks
Rose vs Simpson
Rahm vs Tiger
Tommy vs Finau
Poulter vs DJ
Oleson vs Speith
Sergio vs Rickie
Molinari vs Phil
Hatton vs Reed
Stenson vs Bubba
Noren vs Bryson

I think you have it 7-5 USA if the bolded are meant to be winners. And I don’t see Spieth/Olesen being a draw.

Ya i put EU but meant USA. I thought maybe Spieth would take it but with how his year has been I don’t trust taking him, probably just sour grapes for tanking my golf pool this year.

If you are accurate it will end up close. I wonder what kind of odds you could get on the US to come back and win?

That’s not right. Those must be odds for a particular singles match. What I found:
Fan DuelSportsbook USA +650
Draft Kings USA +800
I am a sucker for the underdog and those odds tempt me. Probably good I don’t gamble much.

Looks like Europe will win fairly comfortably, and so they should. Furyk’s Captain’s picks of Furyk and Woods, and Dechambeau are winless. Reed, probably the best and most energizing player from 2 years ago, has been sat twice and paired with Woods twice- who is either exhausted and/or wasnt mentally ready for this after all that happened last weekend.
I think the media will likely blame the three vets for this debacle- Furyk, Mickelson, and Woods (all three of whom have pretty crap Ryder cup records I believe).

Europe is just better at team play. They set up the course to their advantage, Björn made the right picks, and the right pairings. Well done.

Spieth losing 5&4 tells you everything.

I love that course and how it was set up. The PGA wants their guys to bomb away and make lots of birdies which is too bad. I prefer the way they this was played.
Oh and thanks for coming out Bubba. He sure gave the vibe of a guy who could not care less.
You really can’t blame the US for the team they sent IMO. The others guys just played better.

Always seems to be older American vets that fail to show up, while both newbies and vets contribute for Euros. Bubba, Tiger, and Phil should decline to play whether they qualify or are picked.

Phil has looked like a shell for awhile now, I don't think it was a case of not showing up for this tournament. Tiger also looked more physically drained than uninterested/unmotivated.
I realize there's precedence for Tiger not doing well at Ryder Cups but he looked like a kid again in these past few tournaments and you could see the fire inside when he started turning it around today. That was a guy that shouldn't have been playing because he's played too much high pressure golf this month, not because he didn't care.

The woman spectator hit in the face by a Brooks Koepka shot Friday at the Ryder Cup says doctors told her she has lost use of her right eye.
"It happened so fast, I didn't feel any pain when I was hit," Corine Remande, 49, told AFP. "I didn't feel like the ball had struck my eye and then I felt the blood start to pour. The scan on Friday confirmed a fracture of the right eye socket and an explosion of the eyeball."
