Yup, great show!
We're rolling through Ozark right now. Decent show, but very similar to Breaking Bad in overall theme and some story lines.

Amidst the uncertainty and stress of working during the COVID pandemic, I am finding Due South ( Season 1) from the early 90's to be a light-hearted escape .
the down side is that the CBC Gem app really sucks when working with chromecastast

I loved Succession. The only member of that clan that was remotely likable was Greg.
I hope there’ll be a season 3.

I am finding it frustrating they don’t have all the seasons of some the shows. Only first 2 of Made in Canada. At least all of KITH. Think I will start making my way through that again. Probably a lot of episodes I missed originally when you could only watch it when it aired.

If you liked Made in Canada, you should watch the Newsroom, with Ken Finkleman. It is incredibly well written, and I was always surprised that it's fallen through the cracks as much as it has.
Edit : I actually bought the series script that was released as a book. Just reading it is a pleasure, even without the delivery. I'm going to have to watch that series again... it's been about 10 years since I saw an episode.

I saw a few episodes of Schitt's Creek before and thought it was good. I just started binge watching it, and have come to realize it is really quite brilliant.

Binged Catastrophe on Prime last weekend. It's a British comedy about a couple, good one to watch with the wife. I thought the writing and acting were a cut above a lot of sitcoms. A bit raunchy so maybe not with the kids around.
Thanks for the heads up that Newsroom is on Gem. That show was amazingly well done.

+1 for Bosch. Titus Welliver (Man In Black from Lost) is great in the show.
Mentioned Goliath previously; on S3 and while Billy Bob is great, man there are some very weird subplots in the show.
Recently been catching up on The Expanse as well. Gotta say, every time I see Terry Chen he's been a badass kind of guy, but watching him as Prax gave me a whole new appreciation for his acting skills.

SHAME.
Titus Welliver should only ever be identified as Adams from Deadwood.

NYPD Blue, Star Trek: Voyager, Mullholland Falls, and Air Force one all disagree with you.

Oh wow, the Newsroom. Ahead of its time and I was smitten with Tanya Allen.

I’m the same as you. When you watch it from the start you think it’s some weird hipster comedy, there is just something about this show, I just finished season 4 and can’t wait to start 5. A lot of heart to this crazy ass family.
PS... It’s ok it’s his Sister, makes me laugh just thinking about it.

Just finished all four seasons of Rectify on Netflix, dark as hell but really good writing and acting.

I'll always remember him for his breakout role as "Redneck in Bar" in Navy SEALs.

Just knocked out Ozark, Jack Reacher and Homeland from first episode to latest this week.
Would highly recommend all of them.

Yeah I agree. At first I thought it was annoying, then I was hooked.
I have some relatives I haven’t seen in years. When I was growing up they were extremely wealthy from the family business (meat packing/slaughterhouse) and were in competition with Armour, Oscar Mayer, Boars Head etc. and this family reminds me of them. It’s so funny.
They eventually lost everything. I do believe money can improve your life but it can’t fix evil.
