Do you live in a glass house? That's weird.

The Flames are closer to relocating than The Coyotes.

Big news this summer

Doan played 21 seasons. Gio played 12, and was a big part in getting the 11 games that he missed for the Flames too.

Doan also didn't make the POs in his last 5 seasons (and wouldn't have if he could have played last year).

Gio is and has been at the very least in the top-3 best Flame player for the last 5 years.

If someone is questioning whether Doan "settled" for a comfortable life style rather than loyalty to the franchise then you would have to ask the same question for Gio.

I think that Gio , similar to Doan, and OEL wants very much to win with his team. Kudos to them.

Hard to ignore CP fans slagging players that remain loyal to their teams when the same actions on the Flames makes them even bigger heroes.

I personally prefer and admire the loyal guys over the Hossa type hired guns that are comfortable going along for the ride as secondary guys on great teams.

You are reading way too much into this stuff, but it's pretty clear you are a Winnipeg fan and defending that franchise. Doan made it pretty clear, however, that he likes Phoenix and didn't want to move, even with the same franchise. Back when they were for sale, he tried to argue his NMC applied to moves of the whole Coyotes team and that he wouldn't be forced to go with them.
