Put them in a giant novelty jar and sell guesses as to how much is actually in the jar. Each guess is a twoonie. Only twoonies. Then you put all the twoonies in a jar and sell guesses for a loonie as to the amount of twoonies in the jar. Then you put all the loonies in a jar and sell guesses as to the amount of loonies in the jar. It's like a reverse pyramid scheme. You'll be rich rich rich. All that is left to do is choose an interesting jar.

I don't have any children to pass them on to.

I've thought about it for a few days and may keep a few of the oldest coins and a couple of the commemorative ones and just bring the rest to the bank and get the face value. I really don't have any interest in coin collecting and don't have the time to be selling them in lots or individually.

Just a joke. If you had a ship in a bottle, where would you keep a shipwreck - a broken bottle.

I'd buy some of your pre-'67coins. How many silver dollars do you have? Their melt value is about $13.00 each, so I wouldn't just give them to the bankers for $1.00.

That was also in some post-jump-the-shark episode of Happy Days. I think that is where I learned to do it.

My grandfather left me a few stacks of crisp old Canadian bills. Lower denomination, no idea wtf to do with them here in AZ. A ton of old coins also, and a ton of silver U.S. 50 cent pieces with JFK

You can find a local auction house and sell them. just make sure they have an online presence and are listed on various websites like invaluable and liveauctioneers. People interested in Canadian bills will find them. Same with the coins.
