He's been the Marlies GM for the past 3 years.

He's the one that hired Keefe to be head coach of the Marlies. He hired Keefe to coach the Greyhounds and then when he became Marlies GM he brought him in to coach the Marlies.

Tis true. I expected them to lose in typical Toronto hockey fashion so it's nice to have a change. Quite a few players could be making the jump to the NHL next year which will be fun to see. Hopefully can bring some of that winning mojo.

Its also really inspiring for the players to see the Boss be that enthusiastic.

They won the Calder, good on 'em. I'd rather the Marlies have success than the Leafs.
