Are you sure the quarantine will last long enough?

That movie rules, I will fight anyone that disagrees... sure, it is completely ridiculous and has some awful dialogue, but it sure looks great. Just Michael Mann injecting steroids in to his style

Watched "The Ninth Gate" tonight. It's the story of a book dealer (Dean Corso) who is on the hunt to prove the authenticity of book supposedly written by the Devil.

One of Roman Polanski's great movies.

Normal or Extended Edition?

We'll have a vaccine by the time you finish the extended edition. Likely some time between the third and fourth ending of Return Of The King.

I lobbied for the regular. We’re watching the extended.

The extended FoTR doesn’t even feature Tom Bombadil. Lame, Peter Jackson.

Watched Borg vs McEnroe tonight. I'm not a tennis fan at all, so I didn't know much about the story between these two guys going in. Great film. Shia LaBeouf was excellent as McEnroe.

You've inspired me to watch all my favorite Michael Mann movies. Heat, Collateral, The Insider, The Last of the Mohicans, Ali and Miami Vice (don't hate!).
I know he gets a lot of praise but it feels like Mann is under-rated still.
Last of the Mohicans is also one of my favorites. The last 45 minutes are amazing.

And The Insider. So good.

I think the thing with Mann is he swings back and forth between hits and duds.

Imagine the disappointment finding out this wasn't a Star Trek movie.

Had another movie night with my three year old for Trolls World Tour. It's a "home premiere" so the rental price is $19.99. Seems a bit steep for a 'rental' but as its a straight to video skipping the theater premiere its still about half price of tickets to take the family, plus cheaper popcorn/drinks etc..

Good movie, worth the rent. Not as good as the first one I think, but my little one really enjoyed it. Lots of dancing parts.

If you can watch the LOTR extended edition and don’t, you’re missing out. Except for the last 30 min of Return of the King.

Also, the “Appendicies” ie Behind the scenes stuff is almost better than the movies. The detail Jackson and Weta put into those movies is incredible.

Bjorn of Borg. Was he in First Contact?

Was resistance futile?

By the end you're going to emerge like King Theoden...

It's an interesting topic, as to which movies were better served by the extended editions. Some others were hurt by the added footage, and most it really doesn't matter.

Helped : Grandma's Boy, Saving Silverman, Kingdom of Heaven, Troy, Almost Famous. (off the top of my head) Watching the theatrical versions of any of these is doing yourself a disservice.

She can't even threaten him with sleeping on the couch, because that couch is never being used for anything other than watching Lord Of The Rings ever again anyway.

I have never managed to watch Lord of the Rings in full. I just don't find it very interesting. But I know that opens me up to a number of philistine labels.

I have however watched all three Hobbit movies and they're some of my least favourite movies ever
