Just curious, but is there any news on Henrik Bjorklund? He seams to have fallen off the overal prospect radar over in Sweden and from the link, it seams as though he has been on loan for most of the year. Any news on his progress and development? Is he planning on moving over to the AHL anytime soon?

I don't know if he has fallen off the Flames radar or not. For a 20 year old playing in a men's league I think he is doing alright. 9 goals and 9 assists in 41 games. He is getting ice time in the Allsvenskan and that is more important than sitting on the bench in the elite league. I remember reading on capgeek that once a player has turned 20 when they sign there entry level deal they immediately count to the 50 man limit unlike Ryan Howse at 19 only counts if he was to play 10 pro games ( classified as a slide risk).
I will give Jay Feaster some time as I am sure he has been very busy but expect to see all our Euro prospects from the 2009 draft signed before the deadline in June.
Cunning from Seabrook and Nemisz
Keith from Stone and Kotalik
Irving played 56 minutes letting in the three goals, but Lamoureux played 3 minutes making 1 save, hopefully not an Irving injury?
Im pretty sure that Irving allowed two goals in the last few minutes of the first period and was either pulled or had equipment problems...Lamoureux finished up the first and then Irving came back in and played the second and third periods.

Ahh that's good news, thanks for clearing that up!
Thanks for posting.
Last year in 61 games, he had 9 goals, 19 assists and 85 PIM.
So far this year in 40 games (He missed some games due to injury) he has 13 goals, 27 assists and 74 PIM.

And the kid is a great fighter...
I think the scouting staff really scored with this one. I know he's playing with some great linemates which is contributing to his offensive totals, but to miss that much time due to injury this year and to still score at a point per game pace in only his second season in the dub is pretty impressive.
Every pick last year is looking absolutely amazing, and more impressive when you consider they didn't have a 1st or 2nd rounder.

I'm really hoping for an Abbotsford winning streak, like their parent Flames club is doing... without a roll, that Abbotsford club is going to miss the playoffs. And that young franchise needs another playoff appearance to help fill the seats of the AESC.
I'm very excited to see how Reinhart does this year and next. He's a top-line guy in Kootenay and (along with Cody Eakin) is really driving the team's offense.
And he just turned 19, so he's still young by WHL standards.
