He will play every game for the Pats going forward and he will be totally behaved. This is exactly what he and the Patriots conspired to achieve to get him out of Oakland after they tried trading with the Steelers and were turned down. The Patriots are the dirtiest greasiest team in NFL history. They might have the most SB but it is kind of like Barry Bonds with the HR record, not really.

All bets are off IMO when it comes down to predicting Brown's behaviour going forward. I would not be surprised if he conforms if only because he's playing for next season's contract but the running backs and slot receivers see the most balls in that offense and what's left over will have to be split with Gordon who's also pretty good. I can't see him getting close to the amount of targets he got in Pittsburgh or what he would have seen in Oakland. Can he handle that? Is he going to be able to keep his mouth shut after a game where he maybe gets 3 receptions for 50 yards? Time will tell as it's hard to tell how much of his behaviour over the past year was really him being crazy or just manufactured to force the Steelers to trade him and Raiders to release him.

Yeah, put me down for the AB plays every game, keeps quiet and the Patriots keep winning camp. Even if they don't use him as much as he would like, he won't say boo, and they probably win 19 games by 10 plus points.
It looks like this is what he wanted, and he went out and made it happen. Him and Ben obviously had their rifts, and after the loss to the Saints AB had made up his mind that he wanted out. Pittsburgh tried to put him away from New England, but AB knew there were other ways to make it happen.
In a way, it does show that although the players have nothing guaranteed to them, if they really want, they can go out and force their way to play where they want. Essentially they can make these non-guaranteed contracts work in their favor if they end up in a place that they don't want to be. This won't work for your rank and file, but for star type players who can write their ticket...yeah, if Bill wants you it can happen.
I wonder how this will play out in the next round of Labour wars. NFL owners won't like this...but they probably like the idea of guaranteeing contracts a lot worse. As we know these negotiations do tend to result in the owners getting everything. So it will be interesting to see how hard players fight back here. Want us to honor contracts..guarantee them.

Bill O'Brien with possibly the worst challenge ever there. Doesn't matter in the end, but that was brutal.

Watson is really exciting, but I worry he risks injury too much. Already in the tent once tonight.

Strange ruling there at the end...replay official buzzes the game dead to look at something...they get it right...then it costs the Saints 10 seconds?
Terrible rule.

It makes sense though as the Saints player was down in bounds so the clock would have kept running. The Saints had the option to use their time out to save the 10 seconds. If the Saints didn't have a timeout it would have been essentially a bonus timeout for them which is why they do the 10 second run off to prevent offensive teams gaining an advantage from a replay review regardless of the outcome of the review. This issue never comes into effect in the CFL because in the last 3 minutes of halves they stop the clock between every play and whistle it in.

Some huge 3rd down conversions by the Texans. Giving Saints all they can handle on the road.

They got it wrong. Admitted on the broadcast. Should have went down from when the play ended.
